Friends, Beaches, and....

So I've decided, I'm not going to add the part two after all. (:  I decided to keep all the mushy, lovey dovey, shit between me and Jacob (:  I just want to say I am so blessed to have Jacob in my life and HOLY SHIT he's amazing!!! <3 Yes, idiots, i'm in love, so deeply in love with this guy. Can I just say again, Jacob you are amazing! (:




      Anywho, I finally introduced all my friends to eachother on Monday.  It turned out much better then I thought it was going to go.  I mean, each of these girls are pretty damn awesome and not to mention drama free (I'm optimistic, and those are the kind of people I like hanging out with), and I knew they would get along, but wow, what a day it turned out to be after all lol  So first of all, I was trying to think up of a chill spot for all of us to hangout at, it was a nice sunshiny day, so what better place then the beach right?!  (:  

We all live in the same general area too so I'm glad everyone knew what beach/lake I was talking about.  So when I got there, two of the girls were already there and as I got out of the car I could tell they were already getting along great.  So it was the three of us there just walking in the sand and talking about eachothers jobs, interests, and bands that we all agreed were kick ass.  Within the next 15 minutes, the three other girls showed up and again we talked about jobs, who had a boyfriend, complimented eachother on eachothers clothes, and I am so happy we were all wearing shorts! You better believe we were the hottest and craziest group of girls on the beach! From doing cartwheels, picking up shells, and two of my friends even agreed to get buried up to the neck in sand. Me and the other girls ended up making them into mermaids with some huge but really lopsided boobs! haha So after a hour at the beach we decided to go to my friend Kasey's house.  She has her own place so we just hung out there, drank some awesome sun tea, and since we all had nothing to do that night...We randomly decided to go back to our homes, find our hottest dresses, and get ready for a night out in Seattle, and yes, this was a Monday, who does that? lol oh yeaaaaah, us! haha We all met back at Kasey's house 2 hours later where we all tried fitting into one bathroom and help eachother do eachother's hair and makeup, my friend Courtney did mine and I've never seen my eyes stand out so awesomely before aha!

     While this is all going on, I can't help the fact that Kasey has a mix CD playing some Pink Floyd, Mudvayne, and Beastie Boys. I knew I'd fall in love with her haha!  So about close to two hours later, we all climb into my friends armada, then we were off to Seattle.  We had no idea where we were going, all we knew was that we were determind to find some place to make a memorable night out of.  And that we did.  We ended up going to a bar, three of us only 20 years old (ill be 21 in 5 1/2 months!), one is 21 and the other two are 22, turns out my friend Kasey knew the bouncer and got us all in (:  We immediately got hit on by so many guys, but 4 of us already happily taken, so the other two didn't seem to mind so much haha.  My friend Courtney ended up inviting 4 of her other friends to come join us and before you know it there was an even bigger group of chicks!  We're so lame we all decided to randomly dance like "a white girl with no rhythm" haha it was ridiculous, we had some other people laughing with us, at least i think they were laughing with us?? lol oh well, we had fun nevertheless aha! xD Sorry mom if you are reading this but if you didn't know i've been to a 21 and over spot before then your late lol love you! haha.  And this is exactly how I knew what to order, here are some of the drinks I've had and that I suggest you all to try! theyre delicious! (some cocktails and some shots):

the rest I cant remember (:  all I know is this was a much needed night!  And this upcoming weekend should be interesting (:  well its time for me to shower, Its getting oh so very late, and I just put my two week notice in at work (love being a cashier but working at Sears is just not for me) and it would look completely awful if I was late because I slept in from a night of blogging haha but seriously, someone try one of those drinks I ordered, yummy, trust me! Every girl needs a night out with their girls, cheers ladies!
   

Part One: It all began Friday

So, I just want to say, it's me and my hunny's 2 year anniversary today (:  Why am I blogging on our special day? Because I'm in a relationship with a working man (:  Jacob starts work at 5:45 and the rest of the family went out as well so I am home alone for the time being.  So let me begin this blog by starting on Friday.  Well I woke up and cuddled for awhile with Jacob, I cherish this alot because one of us usually wakes up alone during the week because of our different schedules.  So I was just enjoying my day and started getting ready for work, I worked from 5:45-9:30, not too long of a shift.  After work, I met my friend at the mall because she works there too and we live in the same area, by the way her sound system is BOSS haha so she dropped me off at the top of the hill because that is where I was going to meet Jenn.  I randomly grabbed some dandelions and gave them to her and told her I brought her some wishes (:  We walked home, Jacob had just left to work and the parents went out with their friends.  So it was me and Jenn with the house to ourselves....what's there to do??

     We decided to take a walk to Fred Meyer's to pick up something to eat.  I bought myself a Lean Cuisine french bread pizza, and Jenn got some noodles.  We wanted to stay longer and check out the makeup and hair product section but the speakers came on with someone blaring out "Attention shoppers! Fred Meyers will be closing in 5 minutes..." I didn't even realize how late it was!  So we purchased our stuff and left.  I then suggested we go to the ampm because I was thirsty.  An Arizona, Peace Tea, and horchata was on my mind lol  We get to the gas station and spent about 10 minutes there contemplating what we wanted to purchase, with Jenn repeating "We can't buy candy, don't let us by any chocolate Des!" lol were both trying to stay away from the sugary goodness of candy and chocolate so we constantly have to remind ourselves haha After tasting the disgusting liquid they called horchata there (which is usually decent but that night it just tasted like liquid cinnamon, yuck!) I decided to go with a low calorie pomegranate juice and some sour apple rings for Jacob when he gets home.  Jenn got two beef jerky sticks and a diet coke.  We left the store and soon regretted buying those ice cold drinks as our hands starting freezing from holding the cups, but ampm's ice is the best so we could not resist lol Moments later, we saw a drunk guy walking down the street, me and Jenn were laughing as we past him.  We then decided to go back the opposite direction, so now the drunk guy was in front of us.  So here it is 4/20 and there's cops all around but none seem to be too interested in this man carrying a flask and stumbling around.  This made me think of nights in Fresno actually lol
     After passing this guy again, I asked Jenn if she wanted to go eat at Denny's.  She seemed to think I was kidding at first, after all, we did go to Fred Meyers to go get dinner for ourselves anyways lol But the night was young and I didn't want to go home yet.  So we went to Denny's, requesting that we sit at the counter/bar section since Jenn never had before.  We both ordered the everyday value slam, but I chose the sausage and she chose the bacon and added chocolate chips in her pancakes for 50 cents (so much for no chocolate right? haha ehh were girls! lol) so we had a good time talking and stuffing our faces with pancakes, we both finished half our pancakes when we both decided we could not eat another bite. We paid for our meal and finally headed home.  When we got through the doors of our home sweet home, it was around 12:40.  The rest of the night we watched kids movies while I did Jenn's eyebrows, I am so awesome and doing everyones eyebrows but I am so lazy to do my own lol Typical. Ha! After the movies, we both started yawning and could barely keep our eyes open any longer.  I said good night to my best friend and went downstairs to me and Jacob's bed.  I stripped off my clothes, put on some Fresno State shorts, crawled into bed and texted my boyfriend good night and told him I loved him. (:  He woke me up at 4am to tell me he just got home, he kissed me goodnight and we fell asleep. (:

     Well, like the title says, this is part one of 2, I was going to try and type out the rest of the weekend but Tori is coming over and I gotta clean up a bit.  Our laundry is all over the pool table right now and our bed is still yet to be made haha well I'll update either later tonight or in the next 2 days (:  Have a good one everyone! xoxoxoxo 

How I'm losing the weight...

So everyone has been asking me lately how I've been losing all this weight.  Well I decided to make this whole blog about how i've done it.  First things first, I had to mentally prepare myself for a drastic change.  I'm not gunna lie, I've tried dieting in the past and it just didn't work because I wasn't mentally ready for it.  This time was different.  I want my old figure back, but better.  Softball and choregraphed dancing came easy to me.  Now after highschool, is when all the weight gain kicked in.  I ate horribly, some days I rarely ate at all.  I HATED to exercise.  But when January of this year came, I received the most amazing thing ever, a gym card. (:  Since I didn't purchase it with my own money, I knew I had to put it to good use.  

So for the first week, I just started doing any kind of exercise equipment at the gym until I found a machine that I like.  The ellptical is now my best friend! I also downloaded this app to my phone called myfitnesspal.  It's awesome and to be honest I don't think I would've stayed on track if it was not for this app lol To start out the app you just put in your weight and how much weight you want to lose a week.  Mine is set to one and a half pounds per week.  Right now I can eat up to 1380 calories a day and exercise at least 45 minutes a day.  This picture that you see to the left here, is my workout wall.  Sometime when I get bored, or on the weekends (since I only go to the gym Mon-Fri) I do a few of these, even if it's just for 5 minutes, it still beats sitting 5 minutes on your ass lol So lets go over this...
-1380 calories a day, it goes down every 5lbs I lose
-I workout 5x a week, Monday through Friday
-I use the ellpitcal for at least 30 minutes, up to 80 minutes, I know that's alot but my endurance has gotten extremely high! lol
-I also swim when I have the time to, usually just treading water, water aerobics, or swim a few laps
-I have now started 15 minute jogging routine that I do twice a week, I also started light weight lifting and a variety of sit up routines, but I've only been doing 50 situps but with a medicine ball (6lbs)
-drink plenty of water, crystal light is something I also have with me at all times


It may seem like a lot, and trust me, back in January I had no intention on spending an hour on an ellpitical but now I feel so liberated.  If I don't go to the gym I feel like a total wreck haha And it's okay to have your bad days.  This past weekend me and my friend went out and I had greasy food, came home later and I had some mint chocolate chip ice cream.  One day out of the 3 months I've been doing this isn't going to make me gain all the weight back.  BUT if I were to go back on that track, then I should be worried haha I made up for my bad eating day at the gym the next day, which required me to do extra sit ups and with the 8lb ball, and 10 extra mins on the ellptical haha  Well it is now April 17, 2012 and I am 32 pounds lighter (:

      

My sunshiny weekend

So I was ecstatic to find out I had this Friday and Saturday off from work. This called for some fun (: Friday night I went to my friend Jens and picked up my necklace that I left at her house the other week. I had gotten myself into an altercation where her cousin wanted to fight me (haha) so as I waited outside with all this adrenaline running through me she took one look at me and decided she didn't wanna fight after all. Smart girl, she would've gotten whooped. Now I dont like to fight but this girl had said "dont give her that necklace, it's her fault she left it, its not hers anymore!" So I had to say something (: my friend apologized to me over and over and told me how much she hated her cousin and once I left I heard my friend say to her cousin "YOU AND YOUR BOYFRIEND GET THE F*CK OUTTA MY DAMN HOUSE!!" And let me just ad my friend is this cute little thing and that's the first time I've heard her cuss. Anyways...
So came back home and drank a few beers with my boyfriends sister and our new friend Alex. He's a lifeguard that we met at the gym. He's okay. So far.
This morning I woke up next to my hunny and we cuddled for awhile. I never get to stay in bed and cuddle anymore since I work so early nowadays so I enjoyed every moment of it. Then I finally started getting ready for the beach (: My friend Tori and I planned to wear shorts, sandals, and cute flowy tank tops and look as Cali grown as possible haha. She picked me up and we went to the strip where tons of people were. So crowded it took us forever to find parking lol not to mention all the guys that were showing off their cars and motorcycles. There was drunk people left and right and one girl looked like Snooki haha
We ended up going to a fish and chips place and the fries were so good! Mmm I haven't had fries in forever! We got to pet the cutest pitbull too! We talked about our upcoming road trip, penises, future concerts, and we also found out we both have a crush on Dane Cook lol
  After our delicious little meal, we went walking on the beach, ahhh the warm sand felt amazing. We were goofing off for awhile then decided to sit down on a ledge with our feet dangling above the sand. We were having a great conversation until.....random guy "Ow owwww"
Me "dude u okay? What happened?"
Guy "your just so beautiful I lost my balance from looking at u and fell"
I turned around rolling my eyes, then he comes to sit by me while his friend comes to sit by Tori. I dont want to go into details here but my God! Why do guys have to be so persistent in getting a chicks number? We told them both we were in a relationship, and the guy by Tori was respectful and backed off, but the dude trying to get me to be his "friend" would not stop! I told him I was 17, I have a boyfriend, I was such a asshole to this guy but he continued to try to persuade me to give him my number. Anyways, just as I was about to slap him and scream to make sure there were witnesses just in case he tried something, he got up and left and said we could find him around if we changed our minds. We got up and walked away and came up with a codeword, which is Peacock (lol) so anytime were in another situation like that, we say the codeword and we just walk away or slap the guy, depending on the situation haha
Guys, not all chicks wanna be hit on. For instance, me and Tori just wanted to tan and talk. No men were needed. And if I ever see u again Mr. Lets-just-all-get-along I will throw whatever is within reach, at ur fucking testicles (: 
Last but not least, I got a haircut by my friend Birda, she's effing awesome and If I never would've worked at Sears and met Nikki, I would've still been living with those horrible split ends haha well nighty night! Cuddle time with my baby boo ((:

Work hard, party harder

Well, it seems as if I'm bumping into an old friend everytime I come on this. I am so bad at blogging now, I always forget haha. But anyways, so I am now working at Sears as a cashier, pretty much everyday. I've met some cool new friends and that's what I was hoping for when I finally got a job. I always look forward to seeing them when I arrive. I dont know how many customers I greet and help each day but the days seem to go by pretty fast. So fast that I feel like I dont have anytime to have fun anymore. So I had to change that this weekend.
First of all, my two brothers were suppose to come visit me but due to spring break the planes have been packed, so we all have to wait until this coming weekend. Which is fine because Ill get to see them longer now. So during the week, I was texting my friend, Tori, and we weve been texting for about two weeks and we finally decided to go out on Friday. She came to my house and picked me up, she rang the doorbell and as soon as I opened the door she greeted me with a huge hug! It was cute haha then we got into her car and drove to the restaurant we planned on going to. It took us about 25 mins to get there and we were talking nonstop. I love this girl! While at the restaurant we talked about road trips, rock bands, our boyfriends, crazy shit we've done. No dull moments! Then we headed back to my house and she goes "I got some beer in my trunk" with a huge smile on both of our faces, we knew this would be the beginning of a fun night. She came in and I introduced her to the family and my boyfriend. The whole night involved playing pool, rock music, YouTube searching, an empty case of beer, and new friends. Making sure she was sober enough to drive, she was finally sober enough to leave at 2:30 a.m. We walked her to the door, gave us our goodbye hugs and went back inside. Me and jacob still a little buzzed got into bed and crashed the fuck out. Haha It felt so good to have some good company and take a break. Next weekend should be awesome! Until then I'm working Monday-Friday! (:
